Ayam Kodok
Making this is something that I never imagine that I could do it. Guess, never try, never know... :) So here I was, found myself peeling the skin of a chicken.. Gosh!! Poor chicken.. :(
This is the recipe,I got it from a friend at NCC. Thanks A lot :)
Ingredients :
1 whole chicken, take the skin only, by peeling it. Try to not cut the skin, it has tobe a whole skin of a chicken.
Filling :
1/2 kgs minced chicken
1/2 kgs minced beef
4 sheet of bread, pour with water and mince it
1/2 can of liver pasta ( I skipped this, coz it's unedible for my daughter)
3 eggs
2 tsp sugar
3 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp nutmeg
4 boiled eggs (for filling inside the minced)
Directions :
- mixed all the ingredients in one big bowl together except for the boiled eggs.
- After the chicken's skin was peeled of, filled it with the ingredients mixed up.
Put also the eggs. Try to figure it back in a form of a chicken.
- After done, steamed the chicken in around 1 hour
- After that, put sauce then baked at 150C in about 15 minutes.
Baking sauced :
2 piece of garlic, scrambled
2 tbs tomato sauce
2 tbs worchestershire sauce
1 tbs sweet soysauce
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tbs margarine
Mixed up all together
Pouring Sauce :
3 tbs margarine
2 tbs flour
5 tbs sweet soysauce
3 tbs worchestershire sauce
500 ml chicken broth
1 onion
2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Directions:
- Heat the margarine and cooked the onion till it smelt good, put in the flour, mix well together. Then pour the chicken broth, after the mixed up-liquid was boiled,means it was done. It's ready to be poured at the chicken.
